004-0-0071 S8 Miniature 5% CO2 Sensor
The S8 Miniature 5% CO2 Sensor (formerly known as the SE-0037) is designed to act like a safety switch for alarm applications where up to 5% CO2 detection is required. This makes it useful for indoor leak detection alarms around cylinders or tanks of compressed CO2.
This sensor can be ordered with Automatic Background Calibration (ABC) either turned on or off. ABC should only be used if the sensor can record fresh air (400 ppm) on a daily basis.
Features
- Compact footprint, runs only 30mA
- Low Power, Small Footprint Design
- Automatic Background Calibration
- Industry-Standard UART Communication
Models
- S8 5% CO2 Sensor ABC Off (004-0-0071)- pinless design for integration into high-volume OEM products.
- S8 Alarm 0-5% CO2 Sensor ABC On (004-0-0017) - pinless design for integration into high-volume OEM products.
- K30 CO2 Sensor Development Kit (CM-0218) - Easy to use, simply plug the sensor module into your PC via USB. Use our free GasLab® software to measure and graph carbon dioxide in real time or for data logging.
- Sensor Development Kit (CM-200) - Easy to use, simply plug the sensor into the PCB and plug it into your PC via USB. Use our free GasLab® software to measure and graph carbon dioxide or use our library of source code on Github to build your own application or for OEM batch testing/configuration. Order sensors on this page, then order the Devkit here.
We recommend that all first-time users purchase either the CM-0218 or CM-200 Development Kit for fastest and easiest results.
