The ExplorIR®-M-20 (formerly known as MinIR-GC-0026) is a miniature CO2 sensor, capable of measuring up to 20% CO2 concentration by volume. Its compact and robust design enables easy integration into gas monitoring and detection systems.

ExplorIR®-M is specifically designed for applications that require the sensor to operate reliably in extreme environmental conditions, especially where the pressure, temperature or vibration regime is particularly harsh. This makes it the ideal for applications from aerospace to food storage during transportation.

The sensor is designed to take 2 readings per second, making it ideal for applications where gas concentrations are rapidly changing.

The ExplorIR®-M uses patented solid-state optical technology, which enables the sensor to provide high accuracy CO2 measurement capability over an extended lifetime.

Accessories

Gas Sensor Development Kit (CM-200)- designed to provide customers with an easy drop-in solution. Includes our free Gaslab data logging software. Sensor sold separately.

Tube cap adapters easily convert 20mm standard gas sensors from diffusion to sampling sensors. Molded polymer. Tube cap adapters are not pre-installed. For accurate results you must mount the tube cap permanently.

Micro-Pump Kit includes all the tools you need to utilize the tube-cap adapters as part of a sampling sensor system.

Nafion Tubing is a highly selective, semi-permeable membrane to water vapor. If gases inside Nafion tubing are wetter than gases surrounding the tubing, drying will occur. If the surrounding gases are wetter, humidification will occur.

Micro Gas Sampling Pumps provide a constant flow of air across the sensor with a tube cap - perfect for bench-top testing of sensors for closed-loop sampling applications.

Probe Enclosure for Development Kits gives a strong and secure container to mount the sensor. Hydrophobic filters available for enclosure for outdoor use.

ExplorIR®-M 20% CO2 Sensor

I bought a CO2 sensor (and O2 sensor) for research work monitoring animals and as a cheap alternative to very expensive systems. Yet to use properly but it seems to be very stable and responsive and I'll likely buy more. Also very impressed with the O2 sensor.

"Easy to install, easy to set up, and easy calibration - just what I was looking for."
