Electrochemical Sensors with Multiple Advantages

For years CO2Meter has designed and manufactured products that measure carbon dioxide for business, industry, scientists and the government. These products are possible because of the many world-class, non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) carbon dioxide sensors available on the market today.

Although our primary focus was always carbon dioxide, we realized there was a need for a low-cost way to accurately measure other gases like oxygen, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and more. Unfortunately, for many gases the choice was either a cheap, inaccurate sensor or an expensive, accurate one.

To fill this gap, CO2Meter has developed a line of low-cost, high-accuracy modules. They combine the latest electrochemical or NDIR gas sensors with barometric pressure, temperature and % relative humidity onto a single PCB. This provides altitude, temperature and %RH compensation for trace gases in real-time without the need for additional system components.

The SprintIR6S is a high speed CO2 sensor that can take up to 20 readings per second 6 times faster than the current SprintIR. Combined with the MX board, it is suitable for applications where capture of rapidly changing CO2 concentrations is required.

UV Flux 25% Oxygen Smart MX Sensor

UV Flux 25% Oxygen Smart Sensor measures ambient oxygen levels using the principle of florescence quenching by oxygen. The UV Flux MX board provides pressure, temperature and humidity compensation, enabling accurate operation over a wide environmental range without the need for additional system components. MinIR™ 5% and 100% Smart MX Sensor

The MinIR™ CO2 sensor brings solid state electronics to NDIR CO2 sensors. MinIR™ uses LEDs to deliver ultra-low power and rugged/vibration-resistant performance. Combined with the MX board, it provides full-featured capability for industrial, scientific, engineering or OEM applications.
